Do your ads reap with color, excitement, and just plain mentally
wear down your reader? If not, than maybe that's why your
advertising needs a little dose of Multimedia Brilliance.
Every since the emergence of the WWW (World Wide Web) the Internet
has been transformed into multimedia brilliance. Sound, color,and
video has us all demanding even more. When you logon to the WWW you
are bombarded with this multimedia explosion that just tugs at your
emotions like magnets. No more black and white thinking. If you are
going to succeed then you must begin to design your advertising
campaigns to appeal to this new media.
Emotions, that the new sheriff in town these days. Learn how to
simulate the emotions of your target market and you can force
them to buy whatever you are selling! Here are a few tips that will
start you in that direction.
So what are Emotions anyway? Well Webster's definition goes
something likes this.." Disturb, psychic and physical reaction
subjectively experienced as strong feeling and physiologically
involving changes that prepare the body for immediate vigorous
"Action". Man, that says it all!
If you are in the business of selling than emotions are your best
friend. Stimulate the emotions and you will create an immediate
"Vigorous action". Now isn't that just what the doctor ordered. Just
like the ad samples at the beginning of this article you must learn
how to use words to create a mental picture in the mind of your
audience.
But first you must be able to create a mental picture in
everything that you do as an Internet marketer. Look at your
product or service though the eyes of your target market. Now what
do you see? What is it that you can say about your product or
service that will create a mental picture in the minds of your
prospects.
Maybe it is time that you take a another look at your web page and
classified ads. Inject them with "trigger words" that produces
emotional reactions. Use power words and expressions that best
represent the mental pictures that will get your point across in the
minds of your web site visitors and classified ad readers.
Force them to "see" in the minds eye the benefit that your product
or service has to offer them. Motivate them with the four great
motivators of today, Fear, Guilt, Greed and Exclusivity.
Fear is the most potent. Tell them what they will lose out on if they
don't buy your product or service. Inject them with failure, not being
accepted, being taken advantage of, or missing an opportunity. This
approach will certainly trigger their emotions and create an emotional
reaction. Then when you've got them down on their knees sulking in
their emotions, let them know that you have the answer to their fears!
Then all you have to do is lead them to your order page!

Stop thinking in black and white. Look at your product or service with
new eyes. Use words, expressions, and multimedia effects that will
trigger the emotions of your prospect and customers. Remember the
definition of emotions and use it to create multimedia brilliance in
your advertising campaigns.
