- Was the headline directed at the correct target person?
- Did the headline contain power words that sparked your emotions?
- Was the headline short and sweet?
- Were the words "YOU" or "YOURS" used?
AD COPY FIRST LINE CRITERIA
- Did the first line of the ad copy contain a power benefit?
- Did the first line of the ad copy entice you to read more?
- Did the first line of the ad copy relate well to the headline?
- Did the first line of the ad copy relate to you as the reader?
BENEFITS STATEMENT CRITERIA
- Were you able to extract any benefits to the reader from this ad?
- Were the benefits strong enough for you to want to see more?
- Were these benefits directed towards the product or to the reader?
CALL TO ACTION STATEMENT CRITERIA
- Was there a call to action statement in the ad?
- Did the call to action statement imply urgency?
- Was the call to action statement easy to implement?
POWER WORDS USED CRITERIA
- Count the power words used in the ad. There should be at least 4 or more. Such words as You, Save,Results,Free,Instant,Discover,Powerful,Improved,Hot,Secret,Proven,Money,Easy and New.
