WINFIN2005 Version 4.5e UPDATE
PLEASE READ OR PRINT THE FOLLOWING STEPS BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD
THIS UPDATE!
*** VERSION 4.5e UPDATE WILL WORK ONLY IF YOU HAVE VERSION 4.5c or Higher***
1. Close the Winfin2005 System. Version 4.5e update will only work if you have have Version 4.5c. or higher To see what version you have, open Winfin2005'; Click 'Window'; Click 'About Winfin'; this will show you what version you have. If you have Ver 3.4b or earlier you must contact us for your update.
2. When you download this update make sure you save it to your DESKTOP.
3. After you have downloaded the file, go to your Windows desktop and click THE 'Updt45e.exe' icon on your desktop.
4. At this point the self-extracting zip file menu should come up. Click 'Unzip' Button.
5. When the update is finished it should say "Files unzipped successfully". Click 'OK'. Then Click 'Close'.
6. Now you should run the Winfin2005 system, Once in the System, Go to the Utilities Menu and Click on the 'Rebuild Indexes' and click on the "Build Index" button.
7. Next Click on the "Windows" menu item, then click on the "About" menu item. You should see Version 4.5e as the Version Number and 03-24-2010 as the date.
8. If your version did not change after the update you should try the following.
Run the update again.
When the Winzip Screen appear as shown above, change the Directory in the box to the left of the Browse Button to "C:\WINFIN05". Then click the UNZIP button. Next, verify that the update was successful as noted above.
